The college
team won second place in the national moot court competition, represented by
students Rasha Abu Shakhad and Muhammad Al-Nawaisah.
The student,
Rasha Abu Shakhad, also won the award for the best pleading
"defendant" under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Raouf Al Kasasbeh.
The second
national moot court competition, which comes within the "Knights of
Justice 2016" program, was held at the Palace of Justice yesterday,
Saturday, 10/15/2016. It was organized by Rashid Organization for Integrity and
Transparency "Transparency International/Jordan" in cooperation with
the Jordanian Judicial Council and in partnership with the Friedrich Ebert
Foundation.
Eight
public and private universities participated in the competition: Mutah, Jerash,
Zarqa, Yarmouk, Middle East, Al-Bayt, Applied Science, and Al-Ahliyya Amman
University. This national competition was titled "protection of
whistle-blowers and witnesses and Gender Equality."
